Modern Weapons by Martin J. Dougherty may be the most colorful book about Modern Weapons but it is full of technical errors. For Example it says that the Apache attack helicopter carriers only 4 Hellfire missiles when it actually carriers 16 of these missiles. But the most worst error of all was this:
The B-52 can actually carry a 70,000 pound payload, while the B-1 can carry a 50,000 pound payload. However the START I treaty forbids the B-1 from have a 5th hardpoint, which would be necessary to carry such a payload.
The Pictures and diagrams in the book Modern Weapons are great but the actual content has many technical errors.
